We have a wide selection of used CDs, LPs and DVDs for sale, and we are always looking to buy used product! If you would like to sell your used music, books or movies to us, we offer both store credit and cash options. Store credit is good for anything in the store and does not expire! While we do offer cash for used product, please keep in mind that our cash offers are significantly lower than store credit.
For larger collections (more than 50 pieces), please call in advance to set up an appointment.
If you have any questions about selling or trading used product, give us a call (302-368-7738), but we have to SEE what we’re buying back before making an offer. We do not give price quotes over the phone!
Here’s How It Works:
CDs & DVDs
The trade-in value of used product is based upon the price we will resell the product for. The average resale price for CDs and DVDs is about $4-5.99. Store credit is about half of the resale value of the product and cash is less than half of that. Condition and sales history are important factors in what we will buy and trade.
Books
Trade-in value for books is very similar to CDs and DVDs. We resell a majority of our books for between $2 and $5. Store credit is half of the resale value and cash is less than half of that. For example, a book that we will sell for $4 is worth $2 in store credit and $0.25 in cash. Again, condition, sales history and shelf space are important factors in what we will sell and trade.
Records
Trade-in value for records works on the same system as books, CDs, and DVDs. However, we do strongly recommend making an appointment to sell or trade records. As always, condition and sales history are important factors.
