Record Store Day 2013 is quickly approaching! Our orders have started to trickle in…and we are starting to get excited!

We will open at 10 AM on Saturday 4/20. As always, all titles can not be pre-ordered, reserved, held, special ordered, pre-paid, etc. You must come to the store starting on Record Store Day to purchase them. You can purchase as many releases as you want, but we have to limit the quantity of a particular release to ONE per customer (NO EXCEPTIONS!). With the limited nature of these releases, we want to spread the love around to fans, vinyl addicts and music lovers as much as possible. If we catch wind that you are buying to simply flip the items on various online selling sites, you will be asked to leave the store and will not be allowed to make any purchases. As RSD has become more popular over the last few years, these limited releases have become more difficult to get in, but rest assured we will still have A LOT! If you are looking for a particular release, stop in the store or give us a call for any questions!

To give you an idea of how excited we are…this year the Pre-RSD sale will be extended! Starting Friday 4/12 through Friday 4/19 all NEW VINYL will be 15% OFF the lowest marked price! This sale only happens once a year…so stop on by and flip through some records and get a peek at the RSD releases as they arrive!

Record Store Day is creeping up on us once again! After the success of last year’s RSD t-shirt contest, we are happy to announce that we are once again taking submissions for t-shirt designs. The winning design will be printed on a limited edition run of shirts that will be made available for sale on Record Store Day, April 21st. We had some really fantastic designs last year, and we can’t wait to see what you guys will come up with this time around! Record Store Day Weekend starts TODAY with a sweet little sale! 15% off all NEW Vinyl! 25% off all USED Vinyl, CDs, DVDs, and Books! TODAY ONLY!

At 7PM Mean Lady will be performing in the store! They have let us know that their new T-shirts are done and they will have them to sell at the show. Pre-order their new (and first) 7-inch today and it will be a numbered, personalized, signed copy!

Most of the RSD releases have arrived (a few stragglers will be arriving today) so if you want to LOOK at something in particular we can pull it out to show it to you. Nothing will be for sale until we open our doors tomorrow morning at 10AM. We can/will not hold ANY release for ANY body.

The wait is almost over…Record Store Day is just one week away! We’ve got an entire weekend full of great stuff for you to check out….here’s our schedule so far:

FRIDAY APRIL 15th:
Stop in and preview Saturday’s releases (the full list is on recordstoreday.com), shop our storewide sale (15% off New vinyl and 25% off all Used product), and come back at 7pm for an instore performance from Mean Lady and pre-order their upcoming 45!

SATURDAY APRIL 16th:
We’ll be open 10a-8p. All the RSD releases will be for sale, but please keep in mind that this year we have set a limit of ONE of each item per person. Everything will be first come, first serve! Saturday we will also have our limited edition Rainbow Record Store Day T-Shirts for sale! (Scroll down to view the two winning designs)

SUNDAY APRIL 17th:
