Pearl Jam’s new album Backspacer is being released this Sunday 9/20/09. We will have the version with the deluxe packaging (exclusive to Indie Record Stores and Ten Club)! The CD will be on sale for $13.99. The double LP will be on sale for $22.99. Also, don’t forget to pick up a copy of The Fixer on 7-inch.
Sloth Tapes is a cassette/vinyl label run by bottomless pit of useless knowledge, John Pyle. John also works with us. The label’s still pretty new, but they’ve got big things in the works with John’s band Holy Dirt, our other employee Nate’s band, Come On Homewreckers, as well as releases with Count Von Count and Deer Gear. Everyone here at Rainbow is super excited about Navajo Bixby. Created by our former whipping boy employee, Judd Hower, Navajo Bixby is a menagerie of surf-rock, tropicalia and the genre unto itself that is known as Panda Bear.
